Murakami
I went to see the Murakami show at the Brooklyn Museum over the weekend. It was nice.
Not to mention the dedicated air conditioner they have in there when it was 100 degrees outside.
Hot weather = good excuse to get your butts to the museums.
Wristband from the exhibition = I am a product.

TOO HOT TO BLOG

You know you’ve made it when GAP wants a piece of you.
I saw this ad on Bleecker and Lafayette last night and you bet it stopped me in my tracks. Kiki Smith and Cai Guo Qiang have been GAPped. I know the G-A-P has been doing stuff with Koons and the “cool” art for a while, but I was shocked to see Cai Quo Qiang on here. Not to mention the weird association with the Whitney Biennial? I thought the Whitney Museum of American Art was for American artists…
Hmmmm… I guess I kinda still want that t-shirt cuz I am so obsessed with this guy.
It is really too hot to blog. It is about 100 degrees out there right now and it isn’t going to get cooler anytime soon…
2 commentsBugs and Blocks

I have been playing much Tetris lately… to the point that every time I close my eyes I am seeing bricks dropping. I dream about fitting the blocks perfectly next to each other while scoring tetris after tetris.
Tonight, I am taking a break from that to watch some Planet Earth. I am watching the episode on Caves. I swear this same exact bug was just in this episode creeping through some dark cave. I found this bug on the floor of my apartment last year. Pretty freaky huh? I have no idea what it is. Do you?
