ShopVOGUE.TV

After months and months of pixel pushin’… it is finally live!
I have been working on ShopVOGUE.TV since my first day in March at Schematic. I did the concept, design and some animation prototype. Our development team in Boston built the site in Flex.

Nevermind the guy in the glasses, but check out Mr. Berninger at the next table!
Booyah! Matt Berninger from The National was eating fries off of someone else’s plate at the table next to us. They played an awesome show at the South Street Seaport tonight. I think he was trying to play it cool… by not saying what’s up and all… It’s all right, at least I got this one from May….

things places etc. old school.

Lately, I have been using my old iBook to do some work and look what I found! Some of you might remember this from my very first portfolio site! It was the product of an intensive 2 week training in Flash plus a big pot of curry.
This image is from Biei-Furano in Hokkaido, Japan. It is probably one of the most amazing places I have ever visited. Some of you may even remember my watermelon story from Hokkaido. Yeah, that happened in this town right after I took these pictures. What?! I haven’t told you about my Japanese watermerron story?!? Well, that story is so effin’ good it belongs to a blog post of its own…
Anyway, most of the images from the old site were shots taken in Japan days before I returned to the US and built the website. Which reminds me…
Happy 2 year anniversary, New York.
No commentsCopan

I am dogsitting for my coworker this weekend!
This is Copan and he can fit into a shoebox. When the sun was shining into my windows this morning, it made a rectangular shape on the floor. Copan stretched his little legs out and took his nap in the 6 x 13 inch rectangle.

It isn’t easy with the stagnant air around you…
The subway tracks were flooded this morning and it took me one hour and twenty minutes to get to work, which is usually a twenty minute commute. It was a crowded and sweaty train.

They have these guys patrolling Macy’s store windows at night now. I guess to prevent people from breaking into window displays and stealing giant bottles of perfume. Wait… is that a broken display box? Um… I am so confused now…
I am not too crazy about the name of the fragrance or the bottle design or SJP’s flowing hair on the website. What a cute ad, though.
